Metalworking Additives

Extreme pressure, lubricity, emulsification — the chemistry behind cutting, drawing, forming, grinding, and quench fluids.

Metalworking fluids earn their keep at the tool edge, and the difference between a fluid that holds up and one that doesn’t is usually the additive package. This shelf covers the full working range: chlorinated and non-chlorinated extreme-pressure packages, lubricity esters, emulsifiers that build stable soluble oils, drawing and grinding compounds, quench oils, and passivation chemistry for finished parts.

Formulators come here for two things. The Ida-Klor line and its non-chlorine counterparts answer the EP question across a range of activity levels, and the emulsification packages take the guesswork out of hard water and mixed metals. Tell us the operation and the base fluid — matching the package to the job is the part we do every day.
